Ingredients:
Wraps
- 1 small banana, cut them into pieces
- Low carb what wrap
- Fine ground sea salt
Almond Butter
- 3 cups of fresh almond
Directions:
1Let’s make the almond butter first. It is recommended to make it raw for even healthier and more original taste on your wrap. Wash the almonds and leave them to dry. When they are already, you can start making the butter. You can pre heat the almonds for even faster process later. Take a large baking tray and line it with a parchment. Spread the almonds on the baking tray and bake for 10 to 15 minutes with 250° Fahrenheit temperature. Take they tray out and leave to cool.
2Take a large food processor and set the “S” blade to process the almond. Add the almonds into the food process and push the start button. It is recommended for you to start with 1 cup of the almonds first. When it is crushed enough, add another cup and continue processing. Continue until you add the entire almonds.
3Take a break every once in a while so your food processor machine doesn’t get over heated. While taking a break, scrape down the side of the food processor so everything will be prcessed thoroughly. Continue processing the almonds until it reaches smooth and creamy texture. It commonly takes around 25 minutes.
4Transfer the almond butter into a bowl and set aside. Take the wrap and lay it out flat. Add around 1 tablespoon of the almond butter on top of it and spread evenly. Lay the banana pieces on it and sprinkle a pinch of the sea salt to taste. Roll the wrap carefully. Wrap is ready to serve.
Notes:
- If you don’t want to make your own raw almond butter, the cooking process should take only 5 minutes to do. You can use store bought almond butter instead. If you look for it, you will find store bought raw almond butter as well. However, it may contains preservatives and additional ingredients that often taste wrong.
- In alternative to low carb wheat wrap, you can also use lettuce or other similar veggies as the wraps. It is even lower of carb and healthier. Many vegans like their wrap this way.
- If you already love the almond butter and banana taste, you can skip the sea salt.
