How to make Blueberry Coconut Layered Smoothie

Not more than an hour, you can make a yummy and healthy Blueberry Coconut Layered Smoothie at home. Simply follow the ingredients and steps below to make 2 glasses of this healthy smoothie.


To make the bottom layer

  • 50 gr plain greek yogurt, choose the non-fat yogurt
  • 90 gr coconut milk or a carton of coconut milk
  • 200 gr frozen blueberries

To make the middle layer

  • A banana
  • 200 gr plain greek yogurt, choose the non-fat yogurt
  • 100 gr frozen blueberries
  • 100 ml coconut milk
  • 30 gr shredded coconut, choose the unsweetened one

To make the top layer

  • A banana
  • 170 gr of coconut cream
  • 30 gr shredded coconut, choose the unsweetened one
  • A tablespoon of maple syrup or you may use agave
  • Blueberries and coconut flakes as the garnish


1To start, prepare a blender and put all of the bottom layer ingredients in it, like greek yogurt, coconut milk, and frozen blueberries. Then, turn the blender on and blend the ingredients until you can see that the texture is completely smooth.

2Prepare two glasses of smoothie and pour the bottom layer mixture into it. Make sure you pour it evenly into each glass and after that, place the glasses into the freezer for several minutes, around 20 minutes. This is used to make the layer harden and easier to combine.

3After 20 minutes, you may start making the middle layer. Use a blender also and blend the middle layer ingredients in it, like banana, greek yogurt, frozen blueberries, coconut milk and the shredded coconut. Also, make sure that the layer texture turns smooth.

4After the smoothie is ready, you can pour the middle layer on top of the glass that has been filled with the bottom layer mixture. Here, you may use a funnel to transfer the middle layer. Then, put the glass back into the freezer for around 15 minutes to harden these two layers.

5After that, blend the top layer mixture in a blender until they are completely combined and has a perfectly smooth texture.
