- 1 tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil
- 1 large chicken breast
- 2 teaspoons of cumin
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- Salt to seasoning
- 1 head Romaine lettuce
- 1 large orange bell pepper
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 avocado
- 4 green onions
- 15 oz. black beans
- 1 cup of sweet corn
1To start, you should cook your chicken (breast). Sprinkle a pinch of salt and a bit pepper on both sides of the chicken breast. Then, don’t forget to season the chicken with a ½ tablespoon of cumin and chili powder. Set aside the chicken breast for about 5 minutes to make the flavor absorb (tips: you can put the chicken in a refrigerator).
2Prepare a large nonstick frying pan over medium heat. Add some olive oil, or you can use butter (waiting until it is hot). Next, remove the chicken breast that you have already seasoning before from refrigerator and cooked them with a mixed flavor in a hot frying pan for about 2 minutes. Don’t forget to flip them back until it is cooked through.
3If the chicken is no longer having pink color in the center part, remove them from the frying pan (or turn off your skillet). Then, cover it with lid until it cold enough. After they are done, put the chicken on the cutting board and slice them into a cubes shape with a sharp knife.
4In combining the salad, the first thing you have to do is chopped all the vegetables and fruits that you have already prepared. Such as tomatoes, bell pepper, avocado, sweet corns, or green onion. Mixed all the salad ingredients in a big bowl and put some cumin and chili powder (it depends on your need). Don’t forget to add a buttermilk ranch dressing. After they combined well, cover the salad with chicken that you have already cooked. You can add a grater cheese as the toppings.
What are you waiting? Right now, you should try to make your healthy salad for your lovely kiddos. Happy cooking.
